You put some thought into the article. This is one reason why I use Bitcoin, instead of HODLing 100%. If it's not used in commerce, then true adoption will slow to those who are interested in holding a speculative asset. Yes, it stinks to know I paid $8000 for something - in today's value - but, I believe, part of the increase in value has come from use and adoption in the market.
