RE: What is IOTA?

in #iota7 years ago

This is a great post - thanks!
I own some IOTA, will be buying more - not because I really understand the technology, but based purely on the potential for the Internet of Things.

Some questions I have - which maybe fairly naive, but coming from an incomplete understanding of how this will work..:

  1. What does a car company, such as FORD, need to do to implement IOTA? What are the steps to get it into their cars? Or to get a competing technology?
  2. Is there a company structure behind IOTA that will negotiate deals with Ford, or with service station owner?
  3. If not, then how do the IOTA developers make money? Just through owning tons of coins that are going up in value?

Cheers
