Crowdsourcing research
It's easy to add your spare computer power to the network. In fact, so many people have joined recently that the Folding@home network is faster than the world's top 7 supercomputers combined.
Mining and Gaming
Mining and gaming equipment (especially GPUs) are perfectly designed for the biochemical research that folding@home is organizing. If you have specialized miners or GPUs, please point them to F@H.

Rank matters!
Boost rank with a passkey. You can choose any username you want or sign up with the "hive" or "ionomy" username. If you create your own username, please get a passkey. You'll get extra credit and that increases the team's visibility. It also means that no one else can take credit for your work.

Get started
Download the app. Configure team ID 254545. You can control how much power you want to contribute. And you decide if it's contributing while you work or only when you're away or asleep. Select "I support research fighting: Any Disease,” because this setting currently prioritizes COVID- research.

Yes, Rosetta is also a project doing great work. Many on the ionomy team have been long-time BOINC users. Folding@home works on a different system than BOINC. The good news is that it's quite easy to set up a folding@home account.
