Theoretically if the seller takes steem, they would include shipping in the total, but there are plenty of digital goods as well, that require no shipping. Sure, the initial adopters have to convert to fiat, but that's the business doing it with their receipts now and then, not a consumer having to do it every time they shop. That's the win here.
