Great Non-Crypto Investment...For me is learning Photoshop/Illustrator and making snap filters for weddings/birthdays.
Diversification is always a smart idea, especially with all these bear markets.
U betrayed crypto.... 😝😝😝😝
No no no
I feel that your decision kind of reflects what’s going on in the crypto world. All the people that I know that got in early (the true early adopters, in my opinion) have either cashed out a big chunk of their crypto investments or have invested in the traditional market.
I think that many are getting frustrated with the volatility.
Wich is my case as well. The only crypto that I still feel is worth investing in, for me, is Steem.
Many people tend to go "all in" on cryptocurrencies, so it makes sense that when prices have increased they'll sell a portion to reinvest elsewhere. But no matter what I think I'll be keeping at least half half of my money in cryptocurrencies for the foreseeable future. I'm holding Steem too :)
Cryptocurrencies Will be the best alternative for because of the fastest growing, this will soon be globally accepted.
Hey... Your guidance is always great and informative. Lots of love. I am not all into crypto. Actually I am working on other blogging sites too but mainly my investment is in crypto.
Diversification is good.
It's good to expand your base a bit..
That's true , crypto can give you hair loss lol
Beautiful backdrop man..
I think it may be smart move, lot of rich people invest in a different things.
Diversification is so important. I am also just going to HODL during the bear market.
I have the investment opportunity of a lifetime Louis. I am setting up a crack team to find the mythical city of El Dorado. So far we have a map guy, a survivalist, a crossbow marksman (That's me) but we need a close combat knife expert should things get dicey.
I'd urge you to invest in my team so we can get this extra person and pay for our EasyJet flights to South America.
I don't want to sound overly optimistic here, but a mere £4000 investment will 100% bring you back 1 ton of solid gold. I will keep it in the overhead luggage compartment on my EasyJet flight home (Which you will need to pay for of course).
This made me laugh my ass off...
Sign me up!
Great video @louisthomas
A diversified portfolio of unrelated asset classes is a great way to hedge against general volatility. These bear markets get get rough for long term holders, as we've seen.
buy some gold and silver too
I'm going to invest money into creating multiple flows of fiat income. Also just got word that some real estate I own a stake in is being sold. Might buy some gold or silver and hold the rest until the real estate market crashes (I think it will within the next couple years). Then when real estate crashes I plan on buying foreclosed homes and flipping them lol
It cant be a bad thing to diversify, why not
A very smart decision Louis! I personally invest £50 a month into Foreign and Colonial investment trust. It is actively managed as opposed to yours which runs off the ftse. ETF's are a fantastic way to expose yourself to markets without having to pay heinous brokerage fee's or spend ridiculous time researching. Cheers for the video :)
I think diversifying the risk profile within any portfolio is a good move and index trackers are a cheap way to do this. I also think investment trusts trading at a discount to their net asset value are worth considering . They are fairly cheap, can pay dividends and can be used to invest in themes (property, solar energy) and geographic areas (india, china)
Just let me know about this bear market for Bitcoin and how long we will see this...when are we going to see bullish flag...Yea is it the best time to invest in btc or is it going to stay like this
I think it's smart to diversify your portfolio like this. Good move!
Great long term investments include Ripple, Stellar, Neo, Polymath and ...mainly the infrastructure plays, but more importantly, invest in a project that solves/going to solve a need and/or has an existing prototype that is solving a need currently.
Indextrackers are a great diversification. Personally I've actually chosen cash as a position currently since I don't trust the stock prices at the moment ;-)
Good luck!
Diversification is the future. And what about mutual funds, mutual funds have historically offered safety and diversification. And they spare you the responsibility of picking individual stocks.
I agree with the majority of people here. Lately I've been feeling that traditional markets are much more solid ground than crypto. I myself have about 50/50 investment in US/Canadian companies and crypto.
But ... at the same time, I feel like now is one of the best times to put money into certain cryptos, with them heading back down to pre-moon territory of mid last year. I feel like if you hodl long enough, there will always be another frenzy, just have to be willing to be patient.
As Warren Buffett said (which I think applies to crypto as well):
no doubt cryptocurrency is dangerous but fun/interest is here
Do what you feel Louis. I am definitely still strengthening my positions in crypto, but I've just started. Had I been through the bull markets until now, I would probably be doing the same thing, divesting a bit, but I think of it as a good opportunity to 'stock' up on crypto.. Robin Hood app is making it easy to diversify though, but I have no idea what is good to buy and don't really care to read to much.. i'd rather just watch some random videos on youtube to get my investment advice. :)
Been buying silver a couple of years now and with china alone is using more than a metric tonne A DAY in their solar panels.
And what people don't really understand is that is actually less silver above ground than gold, and governments have not stockpiled it as they have with gold.
And as it much more widely used it will become a shortage of it, it's the most conductive metal, has best heatdispersion, is antbacterial and the most reflective just to mension some properties.
Gold is just pretty and doesn't oxidize.
So keep buying that silver.
