I too am an introvert. Have been so all my life. I can get along just fine with anyone who wants to be gotten along with, but I much prefer to be alone. It's like when I am alone, that is when the beauty inside of me pours out. I can't write, paint, or do anything creative when others are around. I need to be alone so I can go inside my own head and find the little nuggets of beauty hiding there.
