After years of saying that I should have bought bitcoin back in 2012, and complaining about how unfair my timing is, I've finally decided to join the crypto movement.
This is actually something I've been talking with my family about for ages and a couple years ago I just remember my dad telling me how it was all going to crash and how cryptocurrency had nothing backing it and when the consumer hype dies down so will cryptocurrency as a whole, and that was back in 2012 when bitcoin was only a shadow of the price it is now and that was also a time where I was debating investing some money into it.

My name is Tim I'm 20 years old and I've only just got into cryptocurrency this year. I actually joined in with crypto about 2 weeks ago and realized that if I didn't hop on some time soon I would regret missing the opportunity further on down the line.
After doing further research on crypto I realized that it was here to stay. Recently the global crypto market cap hit 2 trillion and daily traded volume is at 213 billion. New amazing projects are appearing every single day including platforms like hive and leo finance and many others.
So 2 weeks ago I started up my coinbase account and claimed all 26 euros of rewards. I went through the regular noob mistakes of panic selling the rewards for example I sold both compound and numeraire at a loss but didn't lose any money overall aha. As it currently stands I'm invested in ALGO BAT and XLM and of course BTC.

These are a couple of projects I really believe in and I will be holding for the long run. I really wanted to join Hive as it seemed like a really interesting platform to blog and share my opinion. I can't wait to discover more about the Hive community and maybe even earn some hive in the process.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and I'm really excited to join the community :D. I'm planning on starting a crypto youtube channel soon, documenting my crypto journey. As well as sharing updates with all of you about the evolution of my crypto holdings and discussing crypto with a community that loves it. I will be giving my first coinbase account review on Friday as well as explaining my thought process when it comes to choosing coins.
