RE: ORIENTATION - LET'S TALK ABOUT STEEM!

in #introduction7 years ago

Quick question as a noob and long term blogger desired for the community i should never put steem dollars into savings right? The steem dollars i do have should be all Acted back into steem to improve my voting power right??? Does this in turn improve my visibility as an author too?

Super nice avatar @theuxyeti ! Yeah , I dont know of any real use for the Savings... Turn your steem dollars into steem then power it up, you can find a tutorial on my blog from 5 days ago. It wont necessarily improve your visibility as an author, thats what community building is all about! But it will increase your upvote, which will make people like you more when you upvote them ;)

so what is the trick to having your posts upvoted and more visible? For example, since im new and I have some EPIC stories to share... ie I did CBS Big Brother TV Reality, I recently was on the Price is Right, I have so much to say... but realistically I can craft the best content ever but if no one sees it it doesn't matter how awesome it is right? So my question is if I write about something awesome and I KNOW people would love to read it, how do I get followers? get interest? get traction? etc... question 2 is ... yes I am www.theUXyeti.com so check me out haha. I started building a name for my own company as a consultant in app/web design/development and needed a catalyst so I thought when you say U X your saying YETI lol so I created the UXyeti. I have an instagram as well im working on in the yeti franchise @thetravelyeti lol. I dunno just seemed to be interesting for me. hah.

Comment on other peoples posts, and build a community of followers. Start following people and commenting on their posts, start blogging on topics that are related to the epicness to come. Honestly to build a real following on here takes work, people are picky about what they follow and like, because its not like twitter or insta disposable media, it actually takes depth... so go deep!

goin' deep lol haha. hopefully i get you to follow me... hah! thanks for the insight. i think im on the right track. it just takes time to build a base
