Introduction - Ingham - Queensland - Australia

(The long drive from Brisbane to Ingham, not much to see)

Hey people,

My name is Rob and I’m currently located in a very small Australian town called Ingham in Queensland, how the hell did I end up here????! I ask myself this every day.

Basically in order for me to secure a clinical placement for my medical ultrasound course I had to come here as I could not get a placement in Brisbane where I’m from. So yes I packed up my car left my house in Brisbane and drove for 2 days up the East coast of Australia.

So what happens Ingham when I’m not working? Not a lot, you really need a car to get out of Ingham and go for a drive. There is Wallaman falls about 1 hour outside of Ingham which I do recommend you visit should you ever be in this region.

Then we have Townsville to the south and Cairns to the north. I personally love going to Cairns as the people are so chilled out and its a great way to have a short break.

So there you go I'm still going to be here for a few years until I have completed my training. Hit me up if you guys ever come here and we could go for a coffee.!

(fresh water rivers, yes we do get crocks that live in there, swim with caution!)

And as Ingham is such as small place and still stuck in the 1950s I'm sure that I can claim to be the first person to write a blog about Ingham and place it up here on Steemit!
