NOVAFIELD - decentralized shore dwellers community - Intro

Greetings dear HIVE users,

NOVAFIELD community unites people who want to build around common values of beach dwellers and want to test the power of decentralization applied towards activities and camps at the shores around the world.

You can participate in NOVAFIELD by actually visiting one of the camping events or by joining the movement online by using our hashtags on popular social media and linking your related posts to this account.

The camping events are based on a simple yet powerful idea of getting like-minded people in one place at the shore and giving them the freedom to interact, exchange and share skills, tools, goods and knowledge in whatever form they see fit. The only starting point for a NOVAFIELD event is the dates and the point on the map.

We believe that free and open nature of beach gatherings has yet to prove its efficiency against classically organized festivals. But we all already know the drawbacks of centralized approach: only few from the staff team and their close-ones get the chance to share skills as workshop holders, sell tickets, trade their goods at fairies, set the rules for the community and at the end of the day they are the ones to fully benefit from the on the other hand commonly created energy. Everything of the mentioned above compensates with centrally and comparably well built infrastructure as well as some level of certainty one gets when visiting festivals.

Living up and promoting the attitude of "take more trash out than just your own". With every additional plastic bag on top of our own trash we take out when we leave the beach we can slowly but surely make the nature cleaner.
