Uncover My Existence: Dive Into the World of mishurivon

Hello everyone! I am a new user so I hope to be in your care~

𝘼𝘽𝙊𝙐𝙏 𝙈𝙀

Hello! Good day, everyone! To start, I would like to tell the story behind my name. My first name– which I will not disclose for personal reasons, is based on a songwriter from our church. Then my second name, which is Micah is based on a book from the Bible. If people knew that this is the origin of my name, they would probably think that I have a reserved and more laid-back personality. But contrary to that, I am more carefree and energetic with the people around me.

I currently live in Cebu with my family. I am the youngest out of the three children that our parents have. I have an older sister and an older brother. My sister is now a college student while my brother is already a registered engineer. I, the youngest am a Grade 10 student in San Remigio National High School under the special curriculum. During our younger days, there was not a single day where we would go on without fighting about something so trivial as who gets to eat the most amount of food. However, when we got a little older, I noticed that we rarely talked about our days together. I get reminded of how time is flowing non-stop. Although our bond now is not really what it used to be, I could still say that there is still a sibling love existing between the three of us.

Growing up, I have always tried my best to get decent grades. I have always wanted to make my parents proud through my academics. So I have trained myself to study in order to maintain my grades. After all those years that I've spent studying, I could really say that it was worth it because right now, I am currently doing good with school.

I also have gained another motivation as to why I should do well in school– that is for me to become a chemist soon.

In school, I find myself to be most interested in science stuff, although it was only recently that I discovered my passion in the field of chemistry. This particular field of science stuck out the most to me, and out of all the professions related to chemistry, being a chemist is what I like the best.

MY USERNAME

You might wonder– what is the thought process behind my username @mishurivon? Well, you see, I have been reading this particular manhwa entitled The "Fantasie of a Stepmother" illustrated by ORKA, which conveys the story of Shuri von Neuschwanstein.

The resilience and toughness she displayed in the story inspired me. Even though she was stripped off of her youth, she did not give up in life. Despite all the hardships she went through, she still remained kind to people. I want to become like her and be able to face difficult times even if it may seem like there's no way out anymore. As a reminder of this, I combined my name Mi(cah) and hers (shurivon), and that's how my username came to life.

𝙃𝙊𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀𝙎

Every now and then, I find myself to be doing different things and trying to find new hobbies. Along the way, there were some that I stopped and some that I continued doing. I will share those that I love doing for a long time already.

𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔

The type of media I like to read are mostly manhwas or webtoons but there are also times when I read novels or educational books. I like to write reviews and discussions of the media that I consume. For instance, when I read a webtoon, I review the chapters that get uploaded and try to analyze whatever message the author or artist wants to convey through every chapter.

My 2 most favorite manhwas currently are The Fantasie of a Stepmother on Tapas and My In-Laws are Obsessed with Me on Webtoon.

I really love reading these two primarily because of the abilities of both the artists to convey complex emotions through drawings or panels, rather than directly stating it. This adds more to the overall feels you get when reading the manhwa. I am a sucker for a good story-telling through art without having to feed the emotions throuh narrations in text. Other than that, both stories also have a good plot and characterizations. The characters in both stories have this complexity inside of them which makes you love their overall characters despite their shortcomings.

𝐶𝑜𝑜𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔

I can't say that I am a master at cooking, but I'm still good at it, at least. I love to cook dishes that I like especially when I get to share them with my family. However, I get frustrated when someone looks at me while I cook. You see, I am an anxious type of person. So when someone looks at me while I'm doing something, it drives me crazy because I think that they will judge me and scold me when I make a mistake.

𝑊𝑎𝑙𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔

I like walking in the afternoon because I like admiring the environment while I do so. I take every chance that I get to capture relaxin and stunning views that I encounter when I walk. I feel a sense of relief whenever I take time to just observe nature. Nature never fails to ease my mind every time it gets clouded and confusing.

MY REASON WHY I JOINED HIVE

While I was growing up, I realized that my family wasn't really fond of heart-to-heart talks. I grew up concealing my thoughts because it wasn't really our thing to express ourselves in front of each other. So after finding out about this platform, I though this could be a way for me to finally share the thoughts that I've kept in my head. I want to share them to people with the same interests as me. I found Hive to be the perfect one for this. This is the sole reason why I joined this platform. So I hope you will look forward to my future blogs that I will make soon.

My friend from school, @chyxille introduced me to Hive. She explained to me how it works and how good of a platform it is. As someone who needs to somehow get things out of their mind, this specific platform will surely be beneficial for me.

I would also like to thank ma'am @dehai for orienting us newbies about Hive. She really taught us how it works and is such a reliable person. I truly am grateful for you, ma'am.
