I explained in a previous post of who I am and what type of person I am. Having said that, I've looked into my past and present to try and determine how I got to this point. I've looked over and meditated on my life to this point, trying to get a grasp on the series of events that brought me to this point. How I became the man I am today, how I became a father, and where I want to go with my life from here on out.
I don't have much in terms of success in life. I'm not wealthy, I'm not in a position that I would have liked to be in when I was dreaming about my future 10-15 years ago. But one thing that I knew I always wanted, and the one thing I take massive pride in, is being a dad. I try not to measure my worth by my wallet, but by how happy I can make my children. My world was forever changed the day I met my son, then again when I met my daughter.
Since then I've gone job to job, trying to find the next best thing to help make our lives a little easier, but the changes were very small. We've made a huge family move across the country and are trying to establish our roots, to make our house a home and to find a little glimmer of security and comfort.
But before I go off on a tangent about my current life, I'd like to delve a bit into my past. It's not a particularly uncommon life story, but maybe you can get to know me a little more by listening, and I'll try to tell this story in parts as to keep my thoughts organized.
I hope that you'll be at least a little entertained as I relive my time up until now.
