RE: My introduction and why i killed my life at 39

Im in Norfolk, really flat but there is a large country community that supports and understands the need for ecology to be judiciously monitored although i went to Easton College to become a gamekeeper so i could understand that aspect and get some trigger time as it were. I also took the qualification to become a large game hunter for deer which was great fun too. I used to be a chef back in the 80s so now i can actually go from field to fork with my food. I have gone back in time as i dont really like the progressiveness of our society but i like a lot of the old values and it seemed to fit. Quite a handy shot now, a far cry from my pen pushing days.....thank goodness! You far from Norfolk?

Mate, I am in Ecuador! Yes, a far cry from the counties of England. I have spent 22 of the last 32 years out of the UK, mostly Australia. One thing I have found is that the path to happiness entails the unlearning of things we had instilled into us. Reading your story this migh be an apt term, not sure - tell me to eff off if I am inappropriate, But as a country man you might be interested in this, my plea for the humble bee: https://steemit.com/nature/@ebryans/conservation-the-bears-and-the-bees-a-perspective

I have an interest in the ecology of the planet and the animals which is why i became a gamekeeper and the bee situation is a really big problem. I buy pollinating and nectar wild plants for the garden to encourage wildlife and bees. They help with the permaculture aspect of fertilisation and my orchard. As much as a gamekeeper controls certain animals a lot of it has to do with encouraging the wildlife and ecology and bringing new life into the world. So I am right on board with your post which i just read. Equador, i would love to have a farm out there....dream those big dreams of low impact living. Also the weather is better that wouldn't go a miss. keep up the good work ebryans.
