HI to everyone - social change through cryptos

Hi to everyone,

I am a quant by background and currently work as a consultant in large transformation programs.
My interest and enthusiam for cryptos brough be to Steemit.
While most channels and platforms are full of more or less valuable recommendations on the next pump and dump coin, I feel that we as society and early crypto enthusiasts should take more care on educating the wider public on the underlying technology, the wide ranging applications of the blockchain and trigger a discussion on the potential impact all this might have on society.

This is something that is really imporant to me as I feel that we are at a cross road where our societies might either make a leap into a brigther and more prosper future for the majority of people or we are entering an age where fewer and fewer have the power: the power of knowledge and accordingly political and physical power over a huge portion of huimans that will not have a place in the future world.

Throughout my work as consultant, I have seen that side of big corporations where a small number of top and mid level execs together with their specialists have more or less every opportunity to prosper in their personal lives if they put in the right effort.
On the other hand, technological advancements over the last to decades, broadened the gap between the technologically illiterate and the onces who either actively particpate in these advances or at least passively understand and follow what's going on.

Therefore, I am excited that with this next revolution in a really connected economy and society we have the chance to use this technological potential for a larger number of individuals
