introducemyself

Hello Steemians,

I am very happy and excited to be a part of this wonderful community. As I am still a newbie here, it might take me a while to get to know everything. This is my overdue first post and I would like to introduce myself to you.

I am a mother of two wonderful children and live and work in the lovely city of Munich, Germany. I'm a booknerd, love music (mainly oldschool RnB, soul but also HipHop and some rap), sports and travel. Oh, and I am a catlover.
This is Roxy, she's the boss in our house, lol.

I would call myself a very communicative person, who likes to be around people. Probably because I spend most of my workday behind my computer as a freelance translator and author. I am specialized in the medical field but also translate books and write about health, wellness and lifestyle topics. Currently, I am working on my first novel, which is a very exciting process for me.
In my free time, I like to drive out to the beautiful Bavarian countryside. We have a lot of beautiful lakes here but lake Tegern is my favorite and I spend a lot of time there.

We live in a small house in the outskirts of Munich and I am very happy about my little garden, where I also love to spend time in.

So, this was a little impression about myself and the things I like to do. I am looking forward to share much more of my thoughts and interests with you here on steemit.
