Introducing me!

Hi there everybody :)

I am new here, so i have no idea what i am doing. I've always wanted to start a "blog" so this way seemed to make the most sense.

I am a college student in South Africa. Here, we don't really call it college, we call it university. I graduated high school with an A in english, so writing is a huge passion for me. University is expensive, so i work as a waitress on weekends. I work in a "classy" pub, so i meet all kinds of people.

I love cooking, hiking, animals (specifically my dogs, i have three), traveling, exploring and i am on the path to transforming myself into a healthy happy person.

Basically, my goal is to one day be able to make a difference in the animal world. I am a huge animal lover, and i am going to do everything i can to fight against animal cruelty. I want to graduate college and take a year of my life off and travel abroad with some volunteer groups.

That's what inspired me to join Steemit. A way to earn some extra money whilst being able to write to be able to afford to go overseas.
