RE: Lessons. Learned. 💭 | A one month review: Recommended Steemians/projects and how not to annoy whales as a new user. 🤔

This post is almost at 100 bucks. If you are at (50) after only a month you are doing well in my opinion.

I pretty much ignore the spammers and plagiarizers. If I could give one piece of advice to newcomers who are serious about staying it's that you never do follow for follow. It will fill your newsfeed with shitblogs. Just follow accounts that produce quality

Sort:

Well, follow 4 follow is the sadest thing in social media existence.. Agreed.

I wont have any idea on how I am improving though, I don't know what is average and what is not. but since you said that I am at least "doing well" I should be happy 😊

I can see your ignoring strategy working for now, I am just so curious what happens when spamming would outweight the actual effort comments and post like.
Tnx for the comment.

I just meant compared to where I was at a month you higher rep (50) than I was, I don't know what the average is. I didn't really get the hang of Steemit or find my groove here for a while, was a late bloomer. You will sometimes see accounts newer than yours surge by you with high payout posts and lots of followers and get a little jealous but in many ways Steem is a bit of a popularity contest. Just build your followers and get your steempower up and you should move up. Stick it out as steem gets easier. I started out with me me being the only upvote on my blog and you start to get a little discouraged that your blog is only making 2 cents when you put hard work into it. But like I said I never had a hundred dollar post so you seem to already be past that point. Invest your earnings for this post wisely
