VioletFlame Introduction: Who I Am & What You Can Expect From Me

Welcome to my blog fellow Steemians!

First and foremost, I am an eternal student. Forever learning and remembering all that it means to Be. My given name is Britany, but when I write, I typically go by Lynx (insert cat emoji).

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I was born and raised in the rural state of West Virginia and Mountain Magick runs thick through my veins. Throughout my childhood, I learned how to play the flute, take pictures professionally, and took up long distance running. I graduated from a small local college with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology with a minor in political science. When I am not molding the minds of little ones in my class room, I service others by interpreting natal charts to remind fellow travelers the path they intended to take this incarnation and I cast cards to see where there current timeline is leading them.

What kind of posts should you expect from me?

Well, anything from my long list of interests and current reading list. This includes, but is not limited to sacred geometry, the Kabbalah, Mythology, Behaviorism, Quantum Theory, Hermeticism, all things cosmology, frequent tarot & astrology musings, and some free form poetry here and there. The following is something quaky I wrote some time in December

The Alpha and Omega Squared

Hypothetically, the Infinite is found in possibility
All that has been and could be amounts to the methods of the Seeker Seeking:
The Sum of all Chances Multiplied By the Probability of Coincidence

In the results, he'll find..
The Original Vibratory Wave
Our Grandfather Clocks Chime
The Royal Harmonic Blood Line
Holding Patterns of Divine Light and Proportion
The Infinite Resonant Frequency connecting all that can Be

The One Infinite Sequence splits, folds, and forms facets of expression
Fractals of the Master Blueprint written in our DNA
Designed for ceaseless recombination
Awaiting your Activation
All by Divine Calculation
Unfolding & Unraveling the endless ways to Be
Spiraling down to the Square Root of Now

In conclusion,
The Unknowable present moment
Is worth far more than the Sum of its Parts
~Lynx

Currently in the Works

I am currently working on a couple soon to be posted pieces. First, "Overcoming the Fear to Create Content & The Nature of Communication Discussed through Archetypes", where I will address The Paradox of Communication which has played a huge role in why I decided to become more active on steemit. Second, "Scientific Dogma" which address the limitations of science that have come to my attention while studying quantum mechanics. I am also offering free tarot readings for those who post their questions here.

I offer my deepest gratitude for those who have taken the time to read my introduction. I am still very new to this community, so I would appreciate any helpful tips or advice for beginners. I would love to make the full transition to decentralized social media, but I am not quite confident enough to make the leap yet! Please Let me know if there is anything in particular you want to see from me!

Love & Light to All

Welcome to Steemit! I'm psychology graduated too and intersting in taking photography. I guess we can be a good friend on this platform. Upvoted and followed. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. Best wishes!

Hi @uncommondream ! It seems apparent that we must be friends! I haven't been nearly as active with my camera recently, but finding this community will definitely change that.
I've followed you too! I'm happy that I have found someone with common interests that I can connect with and I can't check out your work!
Thank you for welcoming to steemit and blessings sent you way 💜

I'm glad to see that much beautiful words! see you around :))

Glad you are here.

I am interested in learning more about your perspectives.

Question
Do you feel there is a connection between sacred geometry and Kabbalah?

What do you feel about leylines?

Thank you for stopping in :)
I believe their is an unbreakable connection between the Kabbalah and sacred geometry. The Tree of Life is the central symbol used in the Kabbalah and it is found within the Flower of Life. The Flower of Life contains all existing shapes and patterns on this plain of existence so it makes sense that they would be connected. They both tell the story of how we came to be and how we are able to continue to expand infinitely!
I don't understand energetic grids on our earth using the term "leylines". However, there are absolutely nodes on earth with exact mathematical points for a reason. The sacred sites serve as beacons of light, but even if there wasn't something built upon it, I believe that the energy would be just as strong there. I believe that the structures are the result of 5D energy manifesting in the material realm.
Your question has actually inspired me to look for some reading that discusses this topic further. I just found The Secret Doctrine of the Kabbalah: Recovering the Key to Hebraic Sacred Science . It looks like it really digs deep into how the Divine manifests in the material realm with specific sacred patterns.

What do you think about there being a connection between sacred geometry, the Kabbalah, and leylines?

Thank you for your thought provoking questions :)

Hello welcome to steemit!! it's really nice to have you here enjoy the platform and explore the community.....wish you all the best.

Thank you @universalpro !! There are so many insightful and well thought out articles on steem! There's so much to learn here and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me ⚡⚡⚡

Hello! We have the same interests and background (I have a BS in Psychology, study Tarot and Kabbalah, hermeticism, magick, etc). I am so glad to meet you! I found you because you upvoted one of my posts. Thank you for that. LVX

You're welcome!
I'm so pleased that you reached out to me! It always nice to meet someone who is on a similar path. I followed you and I look forward to your future posts. I get the feeling that there's a lot that I can learn from you 💜

Hi Thank you for #introducingyourself. Im myself quite new in steemit community but I realized that there are few things you could do to have a better start:
Mostly I invested a little bit in STEEM in order to purchase STEEM POWER and STEEM DOLLARS. Why? Its simply important. Without initial investment it will be very hard for you to build reach here and be noticed.

Im not sure if you ever heard about this site:
http://steemd.com/@your_username
Example: https://goo.gl/3mquu1
Perhaps you know it already :)
If you will reply to this message (that would allow me to believe that we may develop mutual engagement and help each other) then I will follow you and upvote some of your future posts.
Cheers and good luck.

I'm new to crypto as well, but I'll be sure to check out purchasing STEEM and see how it goes.
Thank you and good luck to you too!

Welcome to Steemit! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Thank you @lopezdaccruz ! I think I'm going to like it here 😁

Looking forward to following your feed!

Thank you @intuitivejakob for inspiring me to write an introduction!! Without your encouragement, I would have taken much longer to publish this post. I appreciate your continued support and I hope to create some quality content to share with you.
Blessing sent your way Brother 💜

Hola, welcome to the community :D

Hi @violetflame I was doing a search for astrology and stumbled across one of your posts. I like the esoteric too divining, iching, astrology etc... Looking for some like minded posts in future :) Welcome aboard and Cheers!

How cool @bluefoxy! It's always great to be found by someone who has such similar interests :) If you would like, you can check out my most recent post about Jupiter here.
I've never dived into iching before, but I think it is something I am going to look into very soon.

My favorite book for the i-ching divining is called the oracle of the cosmic way by Anthony & Moog. Have you ever tried using a pendulum? That is fun and takes very little time.

Thank you for the recommendation! I actually was just gifted my first pendulum recently. I've been carrying it around with me, but I haven't really used it yet. I've been waiting to find a person, book, or any other resource I can trust to educate me on using a pendulum. I'd like to incorporate it into my tarot readings in the future though.

Its quite easy actually. Your just seeing the manifestation of intuitions answers. My friend that's gifted showed me how to use it. Just hold it in your left hand and hold it very steady and ask a question that you can verify. After you verify this you will be more confident to use the pendulum to ask unknown questions by your conscious mind. Then when you see movement forward and back is yes. Left to right is no. Circle and diagonal is unknown/unsure. Be relaxed and don't "squeeze out an answer".

Thank you for sharing this with me! I think I'll try it out this evening :)

Cool! I'm excited for you :)

Have you tried the divining?

Appalachian Violet Flame Britany, I'm Oatmeal Joey Arnold, and I attended college in Bradley, WV, for a year, and I'm from Oregon, and I enjoyed my time back in 2006 in WV and loved the people there. I studied some psychology and some spirituality. Love your photo. Welcome.

Hello @joeyarnoldvn ! Thank you for stopping in :)
I'm glad that you enjoyed your time in West Virginia. My state doesn't have the best reputation, but there are high quality people hidden in these mountains! If you don't mind my asking, what kind of psychology/spirituality topics have you studied? There are so many facets to both!
Thank you again!
Blessings 💜

Hi @violetflame welcome to steemit, i hope you enjoy here have fun :). Don't get tired writing an article. You got an upvote from me :)

Thank you @vinziel !! I'll keep your words in mind as I work on my next few posts. It takes more work on this platform, but the support I've received thus far makes me believe that it may be worth it.

Welcome to the Steemit Community. I do believe you are going to have some really interesting posts very shortly. I am interested to read your "Scientific Dogma" post - great intro

That is what I am striving to do and hope to achieve! I am excited to dig into that "Scientific Dogma" post as well. This will truly test my ability to maintain objectivity, because I love the scientific method. It has been a great tool for mankind! However, there is so much out there that has yet to be discovered, described, or explained using the scientific method. I have often pondered over the possibility that one day, there might be a new method of observation employed to investigate phenomenon in the non material realm.

WOW.. what a epic and heart felt introduction.. thank you for the inspiration... I have yet to do mine but I feel from reading others I will better be able to express MY ISM!

Thank you @aeon2020 !! I'm glad that I could be of service to you :)
Let me know when you do your introduction, because I would I really enjoy reading it.
Best of luck!

Wow we are truly siStars! So happy we get to collaborate in this space.

Love you dude!! I wouldn't have know about this place if it weren't for you.
Thank you for leading the way :)

:) glad some people actually listened and joined.

Have you played with different front ends yet? Example: Busy.org , Steemit.com , D.Tube

I've checked out D.Tube a little bit. I think I'll end up creating an account this weekend.
What's the difference between busy.org versus steemit?
Also, would you recommend investing in steem or steem power?

Wow, how cool! I'm using busy right now and I'm enjoying the features you mentioned. If I'm just logging in for a quick browse, it is much more efficient. Are there any implications for using the "thumbs down" feature on posts?
I'll probably invest once I spend a little bit more time on this platform. I have a pretty good feeling about it though :) I'm hoping to encourage more people to join!

Thank you for your guidance!!

Glad you were able to check it out. I prefer the layout and features of Busy more, but SteemIt has a dark theme that I love. I can't stand all white backgrounds. The multiple websites that load the Steem Blockchain's content is one of the things that keeps the Steem ecosystem from being censored or taken down. Even if someone is able to take down SteemIt's servers, we could all still simply login on a different front end.

The "Thumbs down" feature on busy is equal to "flagging" on Steemit. That is simply a down vote that can make posts earn less and also have less visibility. One of the jobs of being a quality curator is flagging Spam posts and comments, but I personally don't flag users who have a large amount of Steem Power due to the potential of them retaliating and flagging me back.

Yeah invest whenever you feel ready, and until then simply invest your content and your time :). This platform has the potential to really be amazing if we can get more and more of our network converted here.

You can login to DTube, Steemit, and Busy all with the same username and password, so there is no need to create another account. The difference between busy and steemit is simply the design of the layout and certain features, but the content is the same on both. For example, busy has a more detailed notification feature and allows you to play videos in ur feed instead of opening up the article.

I cant give finanvial advise. However, I do think Steem is at a good price right now. If you just buy STEEM you only benefit if the price increases, but you can withdraw STEEM at anypoint. If you convert your STEEM to STEEM POWER you can benefit from both a potential price increase and it makes your vote worth more. The only downside is that you cant withdrawal all of your STEEM POWER at once; when you want to withdrawal your steem power you can only withdrawal a certain percentage every 7 days. Basically if you plan to be actively using the social media aspect longterm you will make more money by having STEEM POWER compared to STEEM.

Hello @violetflame, Your words lift me up. Thank you. I found you when you commented on a post made by @wwf. Now following

@kathylee -
Thank you for supporting me and letting me know that I have been a positive influence :)
What kind of posts would you like to see from me? I hope that we can collaborate in the future!!
💜💜💜

I apologize for the delay in replying. Family matters. All is well. I am working on my communication skills.
This post of yours was helpful to me https://steemit.com/spirituality/@violetflame/overcoming-the-fear-to-create-content-and-the-nature-of-communication-discussed-using-archetypes. Although all your posts are interesting.

interesting stuff - welcome to steemit

So glad to have you here. Let’s becomd great friends please.

I hope you do well. Record your favourite flute and post. My favourite is Georges Zamfir playing pan-pipes - Shepard. Actual flute, my fav is Ian Anderson playing Heavy Horses, back in my youth 😂
Keep on keeping on😇
Today was the eighteenth Day of the 🌙 moon; Two Golden Fish.
Resteemed.

Thank you for you support @simon62 :)
I haven't listened to pan-pipes before, but I am digging it! It really makes me want to bust out my flute and play some tunes from Zelda (I don't know if you ever played the Legend of Zelda, but it was a big part of my childhood). Ian Anderson is interesting. Not exactly my style, but he looks like he would be fun to perform with.
I haven't met many people who are interested in listening to the flute. I'll consider making a post soon where I play some of my favorite pieces I've collected over the last decade.
I am confused though, Two Golden Fish? But speaking of the moon, I've been enjoying it residing in Scorpio. It's opposite my natal moon currently, so I've been experiencing (and welcoming) a significant increase in the depth of my connection with the people in my life.

Ian Anderson music is better known as Jethro Tull. An album collection that stretches from 1966 to the century. He has some albums under his own name, but they are mainly when he was one of the first muso's to experiment with a Fairlight. Why did I say Heavy Horses¿ In Suffolk, UK, where I went to school in the 60's the largest horse in the world is bred, mainly by travellers (gypsies). The Suffolk Punch is bigger than Drysdales, and no horse is 'more' sorrel in colour. They are magnificent! Jethro Tull in his album sings ''the earth moves, under their feet''. And, that they'll be here to farm with when the oil runs out, which was a Fear back then. Sample some of his sixties and seventies albums. Songs in them were top ten hit songs, and the flute in r'n'r is impressive. 😇
But 'Lonely Shepard' played by Georges Zamfir (on YouTube) is the very best!! 💛
