Every pocket of human beings who share a love of something also shares all of the nuances born of a unique subculture.
Some of these groups might include artists, political activists, athletes, teachers, thinkers, philosophers, creators, and some that are received with misunderstanding or societal misconceptions.
Our lenses (or view of the world) are as wonderfully diverse as the spectrum of light we are able to process into an array of brilliant colors. I want to be a Steemian who can share some of these unique individuals and groups who express passion for a way of life, craft, or style from the lens of my limited experience.
My goal is to share more about these journeys and if possible give you a glimpse of the way some of this looks in action. There are several thought models and existing research that I would like to incorporate into what we are exploring.
Looking forward to being a part of this community.
……….May oppression see its last gasps with the light of knowledge and good will.

I don't know that once adulthood is reached there is any active intelligence deterioration, but I do think a case can be made for the lack of critical thought generated by the easy consumption pushed forward by major television outlets. I use TV to watch Vince Carter dunk highlights and music videos. :) Hikaru Takeuchi has more in this article: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/does-tv-rot-your-brain/
