Hello Steemit, I chose the new handle of victornomad because until recently I’ve been riding the same desk, working at the same computer, and endlessly crunching the same types of numbers for six years. Enough was enough and I had to get out and do some adventuring like I did when I was a bit younger. So I quit the job, have been putting all of my stuff into storage and will be leaving the East coast of the US to spend a few months wandering around Asia. Life is already different, not going to an office every day, but the nomad lifestyle will really kick in less than a month from now when I hop on that airplane. I hope to see some dramatic wide open views, see new types of wildlife and learn a bit about other cultures while deciding what path to choose next in life.

It occurs to me that yours was the first congrats. Thank you for that, my familiars have been voicing their concerns and asking questions, but I get the feeling they want me back in an office at a 9 to 5..
People always have an opinion especially when you do something out of the ordinary. You just have to back yourself and prove them wrong! You know what best for you! :)
