Hi Everyone, thanks for reading my intro post!
I'm another new Steemer that's come to you from the cryptocurrency community - thanks @gmichelbkk and @ipmal for the introduction!
I'm a crypto trader, blogger, YouTube creator, reading enthusiast, NLP Practitioner, and I also love collating changes in my biology, whether it's sleep, blood pressure or weight especially while I'm doing a personal 30 day challenge like this.
I'm 30 years old, live in Melbourne and until recently, worked as a Digital Communities Manager for a big corporation.
My Personal Life
I'm a cryptocurrency enthusiast since 2013, rollerblader, and as you can see in my pic, I love reading non-fiction books. I've just taken 6 months off to focus on crypto trading, YouTube and other creative projects and will be contributing here regularly!
I'm also studying clinical psychology part-time and so Technical Analysis is fascinating to me!
I'm a big fan of supplements and getting the most our of my brain and body. As a result, I take 12-15 pills daily including brain boosters, memory enhancers and vitamins. Maybe I'll do another post just about these soon!
I've got an amazing partner Julia, who's the smartest, (and the sexiest) person I know. She's a nurse with incredible eye for detail (needless to say she's a great essay editor) and we share a love of dogs, brunch and rollerblading.
My Career
When I first finished my school, I was working for a Grocery store chain - making $250 a week. I stumbled upon a Richard Bandler seminar called Persuasion Engineering and in it, they spoke about how 55% of communication is body language, and 38% is tone of voice, with the final 7% being the words you say. Interesting stuff and although it wasn't planned, I went on to learn about each of those communication methods in that order over the next few years.
At another point in the seminar, the host asks if there's any sales people in the audience and as lots of hands go up, he clarifies, "No, I mean real sales people - one's that work on commission only, no base pay - like if you don't sell, you don't eat." The way that he spoke about sales and influence was inspiring and so I started looking for a commission only jobs.
After finishing the seminar, I was determined to get a sales job and within a couple of weeks I had job as a door-knocking salesman, trying to get people to change over their electricity supplier. It was a tough gig with lots of rejection, but I learned that when people opened the door, I could get them to listen by using my body language in a non-confrontational way (standing side on, using confident gestures).
With a good idea of body language, I decided to test my sales skills in a new environment - on the phone, where I learned how to use my tone of voice to convey the same influential communication as I did in door to door sales.
Then as I moved into a social media and community management role, I learned to communicate using only words (and some emojis) ;) ;)
My Plan
For the next 6 months I'm planning on knocking off these things on my to do list:
- Do more trade analysis.
- Make more crypto trading YouTube videos.
- Make some non-crypto videos, possibly related to the next point.
- Try poly-phasic sleep (Everyman 2) - this is where instead of sleeping 8 hours a night, I'll sleep 4'30" at night and then have 2x 30 min naps during the day.
- Create a cryptocurrency trading course on DigitalCurrencyTraders.com
- Explore some micro-business ideas on eBay. (I'm currently selling some bitcoin related stuff, but would like to explore this further.)
- Travel to Mexico or the US with some crypto profits!
- Spend more time reading
- Relax with friends and family.
Here's some other places that I'm on the internet.

I'm with you on all the details - except the sleep planning. I quit my job last year - but I had been moving toward independence for a decade before that.
Through September to December of 2017, I focused so hard on doing massive technical analysis reviews weekly, sometimes more often - that I became... obsessed, addicted and generally a cranky ass to live with.
Once I identified my trouble - I've been going through my own detox program, and getting back to my happier self.
Part of my plan is to sleep 10 to 12 hours per day - and I'll write more about that later.
Another part of my plan is to change my video formats.
The past year or so, I almost quit doing public youtube videos and focused on providing service and training to my course members only. And through that time, many other crypto channels have popped up and greatly surpassed me in terms of audience size...
While I've been in Brazil the past week, I've been spending time on social media checking out all the most successful channels - and learning from them.
I have a passionate goal to share my story and help others achieve financial freedom - and combining my story with better strategies will help me experience greater satisfaction that I have indeed made a positive difference in the world that may last longer than I will...
Welcome to Steemit @vaderiffic and I am sure that you will write beautiful posts for us on Steemit. I like the list you have for 6 months and didn't know about poly-phasic sleep... Sorry not to have seen this in time to give a better vote.
