Hi guys. I guess a nice way to start off with this new adventure is to introduce myself. I'm Wouter, a 24-year old guy from Belgium. I never really tried blogging before, but I've always been passionate about writing and getting creative with words.

Allright, allright. So I have three main hobbies at this point in time. I play futsal in a friendly, low-profile competition. I started playing soccer when I was six up until I was eighteen. After that I decided to quit to become an instructor in the local youth movement which I joined when I was 11. This is where I found my closest friends, and after our time in the youth movement , we decided to create a futsalteam so we could still have our after-cardio beer atleast once a week.

The second big time-consumer for me is bouldering. For those who aren't familiair with bouldering, it's basically a form of sport climbing where you have to overcome a "problem" (a pre-set route which you have to complete). These routes are mostly pretty short but physically and technically very challenging. You climb these routes without a rope. More about this in my next post.
My third hobby is once again related to sports and more specifically to soccer and the field I work in. I'm a social educator as profession, and two years ago I tried to combine this with my passion for soccer. Me and a few friends founded a soccerteam for people with disabilities. Every wednesday we practice, and every two weeks we play against other teams in the neighbourhood. It's awesome to see the passion and commitment from the players, and the positive feedback we've receved so far has been overwhelming.

So a sporty guy huh? Is that it?
Well, not really... But at this point i'm not sure if I really should make this indroduction any longer than it already is. There will be plenty more to talk about in upcoming posts... So to speed this up a bit: some lists about the other passions of mine!

Yes, i'm almost done. I'll leave you with what I might bring to the Steemit-table. The idea is to write about the experiences, articles, movies, books, paintings, travels... that intrigue me and make me think about certrain aspects in life. Lifelong learning is something I strive for, and it would be cool to share that with all of you.
