Paragliding is my main hobby, and I'd like if more people joined my sport/adventures . In Norway the season for paragliding is short April-September, but our geography/scenery is world class and I'm humble every time I get some serious altitude (around here that is 2000m / 6000ft?)
I do freeflying (no motor) & PPG/paramotor, in this picture I've used thermals to get 2300m ASL, and did fly for about 3 hours. Location is midvest Norway and this is about early may 2017.
Paragliding has been my passion since 2007 and if you start paragliding you will get progress fast enough according to your skill. I did set my goals high, but even my goals were surpassed earlier than I did expect. After 4 years I took instructors course and last 4 years I've had about 30 rookies educated to licensed paraglider pilots.
Paragliding will be beautiful, exhausting, all free time consuming, scary, rewarding, life changing and bring a lot of fun. Paraglider pilots are usually friendly and also a special breed :-) We are about 2000 pilots in Norway and every pilot I've met has been friendly and welcoming, but most people would like more friends to fly with I think.
Don't hesitate to make contact :-) Below: image taken just seconds before flight.
warm welcome here
Looks cold out there!
I get cold even just being in the refrigerated section of a grocery store.
Welcome to Steemit!

In my picture you can see a "sleepingbag" for my legs, it insulates quite good. I use mittens even if temperature reaches 25C because it is cold up there :-) Now I've also got heated mittens and i'm looking forward to 2018 season. Thanks.
Glad you made it here! I am following you. I am a pilot as well. I post paragliding stuff on here. Talk to you soon.
Working 120% theese days, little spare time ... Nice blog you got :-) I'm using an light weight filghtlog (all my flights): http://no.flightlog.org/fl.html?l=2&a=28&user_id=4244
