RE: Introducing Cori and Flo, travel bloggers from Austria, who want to get in touch with open-minded global citizens

Thank you for your advice, @majes.tytyty! Our (German) blog posts usually contain 1,000-1,500 words and 20-30 pictures, which is regarded sometimes as too long by some of our regular readers. Therefore we thought it might be a better idea to keep our intro post a bit shorter. But it's great to hear that longer posts with lots of photos perform well / even better :)

And YES, we 're definitely going to write something how it works to learn Malagasy language, even if you've never been to Madagascar before!

Best,
Cori & Flo

Check out one of the most successful travel blogs on Steemit, by @sweetsssj. Her posts are not fairly long, but content-rich and content-nutritious.

And from my discussions with other Steemians over the past few months, it's clear that short, simple posts are not looked upon too favorably. And rightly so.

I believe the powers-that-be at Steemit are looking to fill the site with as much quality content as possible. That way, Steemit willl not only set itself apart from the likes of Facebook and twitter, but actually produce a site of true value.

Let's all work together towards that ideal.
