SteemIt Introduction Post

Hello fellow Steemians!

I have been on SteemIt for quite a few weeks now and am ready to introduce myself.

My name is Thomas Santarcangelo and I am from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am currently a senior at the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) studying finance.

Since joining SteemIt, I have expanded my knowledge in several different fields, including cryptocurrencies, sports, politics, and many others. My favorite thing about this platform is that it rewards hard work, authenticity, and valuable content.

Here on SteemIt, I hope to provide my fellow Steemians with great content. I will be writing about business, sports, blockchain technology, and many other current events. I hope to be a valuable asset to the SteemIt community, and learn a thing or two from all of you!

Any tips to get started?

Welcome to Steemit! Keep contributing great content like this post and you will rise the ranks quickly on the platform. Check out the beginners guide to learn about the ins and outs of Steemit.

Welcome! Here's a tip: search all of the tags available on Steemit, and choose a few that you're interested in. Go to those tags, and instead of viewing the trending topics (which can be useful once, but after your initial visit, you'll still see the same trending posts a lot of the time), look at the new posts. When you find ones that seem interesting and contain quality content, upvote it, and follow the user. Maybe leave a reply with your thoughts on their post as well. The more followers you have, the more upvotes you'll get, and the more successful you'll be with Steemit.

Thanks for the advice, Mark!

Welcome thomas feel like home in steem, warm welcome from me

Welcome to Steemit. Great season by UCF. What do you think of them claiming to be national champions? It’s a great story for them. I’ve always wanted to ask a student what they thought.

I love it! Orlando held a parade for them and everyone in the city is behind our 13-0 champs. Much needed recognition and definitely makes people think what would have happened if we were in the playoffs

The state of Florida is so full of teams on the rise. I’m a fan of the U and similarly to you I’m so happy that the program I like was relevant last year.

Nice introduction, im new too we should follow each other :D
