An MA in English Lit? Yay!!! I love people who value proper grammar and have the patience for literature. English was my undergrad minor, but i majored in Philosophy; and then went on to get an MA in aforementioned discipline. I loved it...and still love it!
Having a firm command of English, and delighting in the grammatical intricacies has always given me great pleasure. And coupled with the analytic side of philiosophy i feel like i have super powers too! Although my alter-ego is called: Super Part-time!'...the reality for so many artists lol.
Anyway, welcome aboard! You have found the spot!

Thank you! Philosophy sounds awesome too! I'm a none-native English speaker so my grammar will never be perfect, but I really try. Plus, applying literary knowledge to geek culture is super fun. Even just putting things in historical context is fun.
You will find your place and will leave super part-time. I know a lot of people that did, even with philiosophy. But in the meantime let's enjoy our superpowers and talk about cool stuff :)
