Almost 200 manually curated introduction posts! - A view back at the first week of @welcoming!

Introduction

It has been a little over a week, since I introduced @welcoming to the world of STEEMIT! I hope many of you have checked it out and looked it up. If you haven't, it's definitely not too late!

It's never too late to grow this community!

What has happened since the launch?

In the past eight days, I have manually curated and resteemed close to 200 introduction posts, done under the #introduceyourself tag. In order to do that, I have viewed many more.

Due to your help, most of those posts have gone over 5$. Many went way higher.At this point, I need to give a huge "Thank you!" to @acidyo, who has helped out by voting on almost all of the resteemed posts. Minnows, that's the guy you need to thank! With the recent SBD prices, most of those newbies should be able to gain a little bit of power so that their upvote has a little more weight!

The account @welcoming has also gained a lot of power itsself. Due to the success of the first post about this project (a huge "Thank you!" to all supporters), I was able to send 500 STEEMPOWER directly to @welcoming - Those SP are going to be used for newbies, nothing else!

I have also planned to make a weekly video on DTube where I will be sharing some highlights of new users and how they did in their first week on steemit!

What is planned for the future?

The core of this is going to be the same - @welcoming is of course continuing to resteem the introduction posts of promising newbies.

Since I have had to deal with fkae posts/idendity theft/... a lot in those days, I will focus on growing my knowledge in this areas so that I don't miss one :) All of those I see, are getting reported to @steemcleaners!

I have a few ideas on how to make the impact by @welcoming even bigger, but theyneeds your help!
