MY INTRODUCTION POST

FB_IMG_1702590453244.jpg

I'm ecstatic to be part of this community. It a great privilege and it never too late to start. Last 2 year, a friend of mine made mention of Hive to my hearing but the conversation happen to be abeyance discussion, maybe because I was in school then and the stress.
During my service (NYSC), I had the opportunity and enough time to read books which broad my mind on how I can affect my community positively. Immediately I remembered what my Friend told me about Hive but unfortunately I couldn't get in touch with him. So I went online and make my research about Hive, and how to register. To be candid, it took me alot of time to get myself registered on Hive without mentor because the registration is somehow hard as newbie. The most important thing is I'm here.

ABOUT ME
I'm Temidayo, I was born in family of 3, which I'm in the middle. I'm from Ondo State, the sunshine state properly called. From my day one in secondary school i already know I'm adroit in farming, poultry, the rearing of pig, fish and chicken which I love it, then I made up my mind to study it in the university and a dream come through.

During my service, I was chosen as the Papi(The leader) in Nigeria Christian Corper's Fellowship (NCCF). It was a lovely memory. On my birthday, I'm all over the internet and they made flyer for me with a lot of expensive gifts. After my remarkable tenure, award was presented to me.

WHAT THE COMMUNITY SHOULD EXPECT FROM ME
The community should expect nothing but good, I'm ready to write good content that will benefit the community even including my area of specialization in school. It took me so long to be here and I can't joke with it and let the effort flies away.

WHAT DO I KNOW ABOUT HIVE?
I know Hive is a community that Abhor ID theft, plagiarism. Your write up should be real, so by this Hive setup Hivewatchers to check on everyone post, to remove the bad from the good In the community.
with time I will know more about this great community because their are so many thing that I'm ignorance to, things don't really smooth for newbie though but I believe I will catch up. Once again I'm very happy to be here.

Welcome to the Hive community @temidayo908!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.

LEO Power Up Day - December 15, 2023

Hello! Welcome to Hive, @temidayo908. I found you thanks to @heyhaveyamet 's introduction post.
You've come to a wonderful place where you can develop any interest you can think of. The limit is up to you!
The learning curve is steep at first, but ask any questions you have, read and observe.
Here are some resources to help you get started:
Link to The Terminal Discord server, highly recommended for learning anything about Hive and @heyhaveyamet 's home.
Link to Ecency's Discord server, my favourite frontend and where you can find me most of the time.
Link to the Ecency resource library, where I'm adding practical tutorials in Spanish and some are in English, too.
Little by little you will find the places where you feel most comfortable, get in touch with other hivers and success will come.
Greetings from Spain. 🤗

Thanks so much. My question is, what is delegation and how does it work here?

Hello. Delegation is like a loan of your Hive Power. But in the beginning I recommend you to build a decent amount of Hive Power. It’s your voice in Hive.

I love your last sentence: things aren't smooth for newbie joining Hive but if you don't give up, you will enjoy it here. Hive is a vast place and you will always have something to learn when you give it time to explore.
When did you finish your service or still serving? I am currently serving and just started — batch C stream 1 precisely.

I hope you stay consistent on the chain. Have fun too.
