Introducing Myself and How I got into Steemit!

in #introduceyourself7 years ago (edited)

Hi everyone!

This is my very first post on steemit and I am very confident that I am gonna be consistent about writing here. Basically I am a PhD student of Computer Science and exploring new things is in my nerves and this is the live example that you are reading this post on steemit. I came to know about steemit by @jerrybanfield in one of his videos about steem coins and I thought of giving it a try.

Apart from my studies, I have interest in tech-blogging and writing. I love to explore about new technologies and their future trends. I spend most of my time on Internet watching documentaries and technology related videos. I am very much influenced by Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg. I love blogging about technology, gadgets, Internet etc. Basically I am a techno-freak ;)

So here I am:

Let me tell you a funny thing about peoples who made assumption about me based on my looks:

I am 26.

A 3rd year PhD student.

People assume that I am an undergraduate student. They don't even consider me as an postgraduate student!

“You don’t look like a PhD student!”, they always comment. :D

I don't know what to write. So that's it for now and don't forget to follow me on Quora and Instagram.

Welcome to the community. I'll try to follow you on Quora. It's funny because I'm trying to figure out why the hell would anyone like Steve Jobs, he was an asshole. lol

I adore your point of view but you can't ignore his unparalleled vision in technology and personal computing.

Those, who might profess to dislike him, will undoubtedly be ignorant of the fact that Steve Jobs, almost single-handedly, revolutionized six industries which have largely been regarded as the most powerful blend of creativity, technology and perfection - personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing and digital publishing, The world as we know it has an indelible mark of his contributions.

Geniuses have undeniable quirks. It's their idiosyncrasy that sets them apart in their thoughts and vision. That is both uncommon and easily misunderstood. In Steve's case, that has driven his peers, rivals, friends and followers to utter despair and fury. His personality and products were thoroughly intertwined. One cannot selectively like one without appreciating the other.

He never coded well, He was arrogant, and a manipulator and that's how he made his money. He never gave credit to anyone even til they day he passed. The biggest thing for me that tells the character of a man is the type of father you are. What type of man denies his own child and plays this emotional game. He was a piece of crap as a man. I don't care what he supposedly did for technology. Apple OS is essentially derived from UNIX. If Jobs had his way, he which he did, he would've loved for that OS to not be Open-Sourced. I'm a Linux user, which is waaay better. But him being a crappy father was the nail in the coffin for me. But it's all in fun man, we can argue about this on one of my podcast, you're invited. :)

Welcome to steemit! Following you, pls. follow back…thanks.
