Here are the main points of the video:

• I prefer DTube/Steemit because it's a HUGE opportunity!

• Traditional social media works this way: You need to get a ton of views consistently in order to generate revenue from advertisements. In the case of Google, you only get 68% revenue share, and there is no such thing as ‘Curation Rewards’. So, basically, Googles advertisement system sucks, here's why: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/180195?hl=en-GB

• On Steemit/Dtube, there are NO ADS, post promotion is possible but there are no ads. I now believe youtube would have been far better of inventing their own Cryptocurrency (YouTube Coin) and following the business model that Steemit is using.

• Transparency: You can see exactly what every user is uploading, voting on and what their earnings are spent on.

• Safety: Major f*ck ups like the 'Adpocalype' or the Logan Paul disaster can be prevented on DTube as users themselves can simply downvote content and if it gets enough downvotes, the content will be hidden. You can even use https://steemcleaners.org to get rewarded for finding stolen content, spam etc.

• Invest in yourself: Steemit gives you the chance to invest in yourself by building up your ‘Steam Power’, which means that you can help others and yourself have a bigger impact and increase earnings at the same time. There is no such investment opportunity on YouTube or Google whatsoever.

• YouTube doesn’t show you WHO votes on your content, but you can only vote on content if you are signed in, so YouTube knows, but chooses NOT to release this vital data. Just some food for thought…
