Hi Warren, and welcome to Steemit. I'm sure you're going to love it here.
That was a great introduction. It must be interesting working at the UCLA psychology lab. I recently just did Dr Jordan Peterson's online personality assessment, which I found really interesting. I posted an article about it here on Steemit and it received quite a bit of interest. I will have to look more into that side of things, although I'm no expert.
Anyway, good luck with your Steemit journey. :-)
P.S. These following sites will help you a lot on Steemit. I use them myself and so I can definitely recommend them. They’ll make it a lot easier for you to keep track of everything.
https://steem.makerwannabe.com/ (You can monitor those who follow and unfollow you)
https://steemstats.com/#!/ (This one is great for following your stats and analytics)

All the best,
Giles @tam-lin
Thanks for the resources Giles! I'm definitely looking forward to becoming a part of this community. Working in psychology is always interesting -- especially when it comes to illnesses as debilitating as schizophrenia. I'll definitely use this space to write a lot about the brain and the ways it goes awry!
