Hello everyone! How are y’all? I hope you’re doing great. I heard that hive is a great place to start—especially for those aspiring readers and writers who want to write or share their thoughts, emotions, and experiences with everyone. I’m really glad and excited as well because, finally, I met my people. Nice to meet y’all. I love reading; that’s why I’m excited to read different blogs here. I also want to feel what you’ve felt while reading your stories or experiences. This is my first time sharing my experience through writing, so please bare with my words. I’m here to learn and to make friends, please do interact with me. For me, this is the door to improvement, so please let me be part of it. I will see this opportunity as a doorway and use this place as a training ground to become a successful writer in the future.

Maayong Adlaw! Good day in English. By the way, I’m swtzyserrah from the place where all the people are known for being responsible, respectful, hardworking, loving, caring—name it, we have it. A place where beauty is not just in their faces but also in their places, Cebu!. I’m 20 years old now and a coming 3rd year student taking up a Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in General Education. Why did I choose this course? There are lots of courses. Why this? My answer is simple: I want to teach young learners the quality of education that they deserve. I’m not the intelligent or fast learner that some of the teachers possess, but I have the heart and mind for children. I will do my best in order for them to grow and be a better version of themselves. For me, teaching is not just a profession but a passion as well.

I was raised by a family that is very optimistic and industrious. And I adapt it from them. Most of my friends say that I'm jolly and a kind of friend that is easy to get along with. Well, you can't blame me; my parents did their responsibilities so well. My parents taught me to be contented on what we have; that's the reason why I really adore my parents so much—they are my number one inspiration and my number one supporter. I'm really doing my best right now so that my parents will have a professional daughter in the near future and for them to be proud of. They are the best parents in the whole world; that's why studying hard is my only way to thank them.

THINGS THAT I USUALLY DO

Wattpad is Life
Most of the time, I like reading Wattpad stories; it's my little comfort and my only way to escape reality. I love reading stories that have mystery, action, and thriller genres; do you also like those genres? Say yes, please. I really want to know. I can say that Wattpad really helps me; when I'm upset, I will automatically read some stories; it's my little therapy. Are you doing the same too? Well, they can't blame us because Wattpad is really the best. If you have any story suggestions please let me know I will love to read it.

The Kitchen is Mine

I also love cooking; I know how to cook a lot of Filipino dishes, as my mother taught me. Sometimes I used to watch my mom when she cooked something, and because of that, there are lots of recipes that I learned from her. But there are times that I watch some tutorials on social media for me to be guided because I don’t want to waste any ingredients. It’s like a reward when someone compliments my cooking and appreciates it. It makes me want to continue cooking delicious food for them.

Capturing the Beauty of God’s Gift

I love taking pictures of sunsets, sunrises, moons, skies, and everything else that is related to nature. Capturing their mesmerizing beauty is one of my so called “ therapy ", every time I see this wonderful creation of our almighty God I always feel at ease. I laugh because there are more pictures of the sunset, moon, and sky than my selfie in my gallery. I don’t know why but this beautiful masterpiece is a big help to me. It literally change my mood and made me realize that every god's creation is beautiful and wonderful. Sometimes I always think about “what was I made for ” ;for the reason that I don't know what my talent is—I don't excel in any sports, I'm not that attractive nor intelligent like beauty queens. I'm just a simple provincial girl with a big dream for my self and my family. Just like the sunset I always put in my mind that everything will end beautifully, the sunrise that reminds me to raise confidently no matter how broke you are, because, just like the moon god will always be the leading light that will guide us to the right and the prefect path.

Creating Unforgettable Memories with Them
Lately, mountaineering and going to the beach are two of my favorite activities with my friends; just like me, they also want to explore different and fantastic destinations that are very student-friendly and worth it. Below are pictures of us enjoying the places and its ambiance.

Overnight with friends, this is the first time that I go overnight with them—since my parents are strict but gladly they finally give me the permission to go out with my friends. I will never forget this simple but memorable bounding of us.

I really enjoyed the cold water and the stony view, the place was Instagramable. But it’s kinda risky because of the sharp stones and the water is too high that’s the reason why me and my best friend Mary Joy chosen to stay on that small pond.

Just the 3 of us
We’re trio since elementary up until now the closeness is still there. Even though we don’t go to the same school in college, we still manage have a small bounding every time we don’t have a class or a busy schedule.

I really want to make friends here in hive. No matter who you are, where you are from, or what culture you have, it doesn’t matter at all. My main reason why I join hive is to make friends with such talented, unique, and passionate people. I know that there are lots of things that I can learn from each one of you, and at the same time, you can learn from me too. Let’s embrace each other’s uniqueness through interacting with each other, because I believe that communication is the best way to achieve harmony.
