Hi, I’m Matt and I like to set myself on fire….wait, what???

So I guess this is the part where I introduce myself…..but I am totally not an alcoholic.

Seriously though, I’m Matt. I work in the film industry as a Stuntman, Stunt Coordinator, and 2nd Unit Director, hence lighting myself on fire. I have worked in the industry for many years, this time last year I was in Iceland filming the latest Fast n Furious movie. I also served for several enlistments in the U.S. Army. As such one might expect me to do all kinds of crazy things….which isn’t necessarily incorrect, I mean who doesn't like a good adventure especially when it involves traveling, even to the crappier parts of the world? But often I can be found working on the fixer upper house that I bought a bit ago, and hanging out with my decidedly unmacho little dog, who I like more than most people.

I ended up here after talking with my buddy Kerry, who is all about the Steem. I have been looking at alternative methods of investing over the last several years, as the stock market always seemed not only dicey, but pretty cutthroat and impersonal. I had put some into real estate, but a friend turned me on to cryptocurrency. This came up in my conversation with Kerry and he said he was doing the same thing and had I heard of Steem. He went on to explain what it was all about and it just seemed like a perfect fit, so….here I am.

I’m not sure everything I’ll post about or on. Certainly entertainment industry things, military type things, but I am not as knuckle dragging as my background might sound. I’m interested in scuba, alternative energy, off grid green living (I’m partially off grid now and trying), history, and I will go toe to toe with meme’s any chance I get. I guess I have an interest in a lot of eclectic subjects. My son says I'm a fountain of random information.

As I explore here I’m sure I’ll find other things I’m interested in talking about. So I look forward to interacting with the Steem community in the near future as I get my bearings.
