Using irrelevant tags, especially popular tags, makes it hard to find good and relevant content.
Please try to use only relevant tags when posting!
The “introduceyourself” tag is for creating a post that tells us about you. Users are encouraged to use this tag exclusively for that, and not to reuse it.
Is it possible to delete this post. I'm new at this but this post is getting zero attention due to time it was posted and wrong tags. Thanks
you can't delete posts. You can only edit them.
you can change tags, all except the first one, so you are stuck with the #introduceyourself tag on the posts you used it as a first tag. But both of your first 2 posts were a introduction, so that I would think is OK.
Not all posts attract a lot of attention, no matter how good they are. I have a few posts with only a couple of views and zero earnings.
Subsequent posts you should use other tags that are relevant to your post. The first tag is the most important, so don't lead with a tag that has a very low rank, but of course it has to be relevant - as you check on postings you will find however that a lot of people are "cheating". Most of my posts are in #art because they belong there, but when I go to art, I find all kinds of stuff that has not even a remote relevance to art. But don't do as they do, do what is right!
I need #mermaid and #opera and #vintage fashion and #scuba etc....
From all I know, you can use any word you want as a tag, but people seem to pay attention more to tags that are already established. I understand what you are saying, but trying to blend your themes with already popular tags might get you more attention... maybe #life, #art, #fashion and #travel could be the right alternatives for you.
Thanks!
Ignore @steemcleaners. They are only the self-proclaimed Steemit police. Had they read your other posts, they would understand why you used that tag on this post just like I did.
Most people on Steemit are kind, but sometimes you will run into people who want to tell you how you should use the platform, and as long as you are not spreading hate or abusing the system for your own profit (which it could be argued that @steemcleaners does...notice how they upvoted their own comment to make sure they get paid on it?), then you can post and use tags as you see fit.
Don't delete your posts because of them.
