RE: An Australian Crypto Investor Living In China!

A couple of comments : investing is indeed an information game and your realization that "Eventually I realised that I can't win in a game whereby I have no competitive advantage. " is very profound and applies widely.

You tend to miss your own message a coupe of paragraphs later: "My investment in 2014 coming to fruition has finally given me the confidence to trust my judgement." There is no surer way to fail than mistaking "sheer luck" with "good judgement". Everybody holding basically any crypto in, say, august of 2017 was a winner if they sold in late december or early january.

The future is always hazy and if you are not already fiat-millionaire and have already achieved your goals then the most you can say is that you are on a good path. But not there yet - a lot of things can still happen. So stay humble and avoid over-confidence ;-)
