RE: It's me - Paul. With the drive to lose 200KG (400 Pounds) Via Excercise, Healthy Eating & Gastric Sleeve Surgery

Welcome to Steem. One thing I have found beneficial is to talk to a dietitian. They can tell you what to look for in the supermarket and even show you what your portion sizes should be, etc. After the operation, you may find that you might not be able to stomach a whole lot. They should also tell you which exercises should be the best for you as well. Start off slow, and build your way up.

I've lost 18kg and I feel great.

Hey,
Firstly GREAT WORK on the weight, its seriously something I feel people can feel great about.
My dietician is great, we have worked on a customised meal plan as I am bigger then most people.
Excercise wise I am very light at th emoment, and after surgery for a few weeks too.

Once my wounds heal will be starting swimming and walking laps to get some general fitness before i start to focus on keeping muscle mass etc.

Ill be getting a personal trained specialised with obese patients :)

That's fantastic. I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so I have to see doctors and dietitians, etc.
