That is awesome lol...finally more horror buffs making their way here. I run Where Horrors Dwell on Facebook actually, pretty huge horror community and trying to move them over here to my new other profile @horrordwell but moving 18K horror fans who are stuck on FB is going to be a huge huge job lol....slowly but surely. I try to resteem a few of the articles I write on that other profile but if you wanna keep up with my horror stuff feel free to add that because it will always have a bit more than what I post on my personal one here. Really awesome to meet you, hoping you have great success here on Steemit!
That's great, I've been a big fan of the genre ever simce I was a child watching the old Hammer Horrors! (actually I think the studio is once again making films) so have added your other profile and will take great interest in your posts. Thanks again and equally great to meet you!
Actually your right, HAMMER is back. Not the same old crew but more or less a revamping of the studio out of homage but some key players from the original days are getting back on board thankfully. I love old HAMMER films, the atmosphere they had is just not matched to this day by any film. Really appreciate the support. Look out for an announcement I am about to make in my next post on this profile, I am putting together something for Steemit users to get them more upvotes with some effort on my side, could use support from as many of the community as I can. I should have that post up very shortly
Yes I thought they were, I think they have a couple of films out already but they seem to have slipped my memory. I'm wth you on the Hammer front as they were a genre within themselves! I've only just noticed your message so will have a look straight away. Thanks for the effort and good luck on the venture.
I am in hopes they still retain the Vampriella rights lol....they made a movie of that comic book character towards the very end of the Hammer Studios fall out in the 70s and it be wicked to see them do a new feature in a more modern style fitting the comics better, an very untapped character and I believe they hold the rights to the films still...maybe...something I need to look into and write about lol. Wishing you great success here on STEEMIT, I will be sure to look out for your posts and hook you up with some upvotes when they hit the streets
Haha yes I think I remember that one .. a couple of other curiosity films they did towards the end of the studio were Captain Cronos vampire hunter and the martial arts horror 7 golden vampires lol worth a look for completists .. thanks for the comments and likewise all the best for yourself.
