I don't even know where to begin. I was born in India, but grew up in Germany and the UK, and now live in India again. I work in the tech start-up ecosystem here as an Advisor to a VC fund (www.aarincapital.com) and to several funded tech start-ups.
I started my career in Investment Banking, on the Fixed Income Sales & Trading side of the business. I did pretty well but the work was essentially soulless, which at some point bothered me enough to seek a change. I dabbled in entrepreneurship with mixed results, and then found a great platform from which to invest in, advise and engage with early stage tech ventures. I have learned a ton of stuff doing this, and it has been immensely rewarding and fun. I have been interested (and invested) in crypto-currencies since ~ 2012/13. I came across the Steemit project by accident and was really intrigued by its potential to reshape how great content is created and rewarded in the digital age. I love the authenticity and sincerity of several of the pieces I have read here, and am pretty impressed with what I have seen here so far on the UI and engagement side of things.
I have never been much of a blogger, though I tweet occasionally (@GautamSeshadri). I am going to resolve to use this forum to try and put across my thoughts on the key themes playing out in the Indian tech ecosystem on a semi-regular basis. Hopefully, some of you will find my ruminations useful and illuminating. Please send me your feedback, the good and the bad, so I can improve over time.

Add some photos or other images and a bit more description and your post will do much better!
Thanks for the suggestion, krypto. Will build this out a little more when I have more time.
The payout occurs 24 hours after the last vote is cast, so just to be clear, the earlier you do it the more effective your post can/will be. Just letting you know! :] edit also for images use postimg.org
Damn! I better start digging for some good photos/images then!
Wang, take your bot self to sleep.
Thanks, wang
