Hello steemit community! I hope to be a regular poster of visual entertainment. If you are a fan of Lake Tahoe and/or landscape photography, you might enjoy my posts... I'm happy to have found this site!
I am Scott Thompson, of Scott Shots Photography. I have been a professional photographer for nearly 20 years. In 2002, I moved to the Lake Tahoe, California/Nevada area with my wife and son where I was able to shift my "focus" to my landscape photography career. I primarily photograph the Tahoe area but I occasionally travel for photos too. My landscape images have been licensed countless times by local publications and small businesses. I also shoot a ton of real estate photography and produce virtual tours for clients in the area.
Oh yeah! I also print my own big prints on an Epson 9900 and sell my prints out of local galleries, businesses, and off my website https://www.ScottShotsPhoto.com. I know most of you probably aren't in need of big limited edition prints so I will try not to be too spammy here (I'll save those annoying sponsored posts for faceboo) I'm also an author of two photo books and I hope to work on another one soon.
A bit more about me before I shift the attention to my work... I'm 41, married, I have a son who will be starting college next year (film school), our old awesome dog recently passed away. Besides photography and spending time with my family, I also love to hike, backpack, camp, snowboard, mountain bike, fish, and kayak - the typical Tahoe dad I guess.
I'm usually very open about locations, gear I use, camera setting, and more. If you have any questions about my images that I didn't answer in the post, please ask in the comments. Here are some images below so you can see what you are in for if you follow me.

"Full Moon above Donner Lake 6" - Photograph shot just after sunset of the full moon rising above Donner Lake and Rainbow Bridge in Truckee, California.
"Sunrise at Rainbow Bridge 3" - Photograph of a vibrant sunrise at Rainbow Bridge above Truckee and Donner Lake (under the fog).
"Full Moon Above Donner Lake 8" - Stitched panoramic photograph of a full moon rising above Hwy 80, Donner Lake, Truckee, Old Hwy40, and Rainbow Bridge. Shot shortly after sunset. The lights of cars can be seen on Hwy 80 and Old Hwy 40.

Ok, can someone help this noob out? Why does this same post keep ending up in my comments? I assume it's an overactive bot. Is there a way to stop it?
Hello @scottshots,welcome to steemit. Bots or people that annoy are pretty easy to take care of on steemit. Being real new downvoting them does not work. The easiest solution is to left click on their name and then click on the "mute" box. Then you will never see their inane comments again.
If you need help settling in here at steemit @mudcat36 and @davemccoy have started a #newbieresteemday project. I have resteemed this post, and if you ask them they will resteem you also, we all have different followers, and enjoy different content. I also try to help with votes suggestions and Ideas when asked. I generally do my #newbieresteemday on Sundays, but you look like you have some nice photos, and along with games/contest, and reading, I like taking pictures, Nowhere near as good as you and @irvinesimages, one of his post was how I found you via a comment you left, but not being super good at something has never really stopped me from having fun, Anyways enough, if you need help just let me or mudcat or dave know and we will try.

Ok @bashadow, I have a question for you, @mudcat36, and @dacemccoy. Is there a way to organize my followers list or at least see who my new followers are? As my followers list grows I'd like to be able to check out the blogs of my new followers. Thank you for any help you can give!
https://steemdb.com/@scottshots is most like the best place to find that information. As far as i know it is the only one that will show you when they followed, (how many days ago). Along with that a lot of other ways to look at information is available. https://steemd.com/ is another very useful tool, and steworld.org. 3 of the best tools I have found anyway.
As far as organizing your followers list, I don't think there is away to do that. Steemit just shows it alphabetically.
Thank you @bashadow! Finally got my bandwidth back, learning the hard way about that too... I knew about steemd but not steemdb, thank you. Yes, that makes a lot of sense to just check that when I get new followers. Thanks again, you rock!!!
