Well maybe you can publish your novel, chapter by chapter here on steemit? A lot of people have done that and are still doing it. You can establish yourself as a writer quickly, I hope. Cheers mate! :)

That's not a bad idea...I've been wanting to write a fan fic about the Venatori from the Dresden Files. I might just do that here. Thanks for the idea!
