RE: Welcome to my little big world!

Hello @k-a-s-i-a. Nice to meet you :-) Welcome to steemit.
I've followed you because I think you're going to write on a number of subjects I'm really interested by.

I wanted to comment that my daughter [17] was planning to be a lawyer but this year [1st year of A'Levels in the UK] she just decided to leave school and follow her true loves of music, foreign languages and art. I'm so relieved for her that she's no longer pushing herself toward a direction she felt she should go but didn't love. So, when I read in @mikepm74's Fresh Five post that you had studied law and decided to go live instead ... I was drawn to read more.

Looking forward now to reading more of what you have to offer.
I also had the preconception for many years that Iyengar yoga is only for very thin people and didn't do it for that reason ... until my daughter [29] told me there were plenty of not skinny folk in her class and I got involved. I LOVE it. But I have lapsed. I'm hopeful you'll inspire me afresh to get back to it. :-)

Welcome again! Glad you are here to swell the ranks of women contributers on steemit.

wow @sallylloyd, thank you for such a nice message!:) btw. It's inspiring that you didn't force your daughter to finish her studies! bravo! see you on your blog as well :)

Thanks @k-a-s-I-a. 😄
We are libertarians and she was ‘unschooled’ until she was 14 and decided to go to school to be ‘normal’. I’m so pleased she’s had the chance to try the route she was attempting but most of all I’m glad she’s been able to find out so soon that it’s REALLY hard to do what your heart’s not set on and that she’s able to choose not to. ❤️
So many people do what they don’t love for whole life times. I’d not want that for her.

I had a feeling from your intro that you get what I’m talking about.

‘Work’ is effortless, joyous and good for us when we are driven by passion for it, right?

I have a feeling this may turn out to be your ‘work’. 😄

I do get what u r talking about:) btw. I'm excited to hear your story! truly inspiring! i keep my fingers crossed for you and your family! sending love :)
