@mitchhunter, I think sharing the struggles and insights in creating artwork is the hook. Many people don't understand how artist create, they think it's like magic or a gift. So showing the struggle, exhaustion, creative highs and lows makes for an interesting read.

I really enjoy video taping my work and speeding it up, putting it to music, I've had a blast with that kind of sharing.

EDIT: I should show videos of my frustration when I rip up pieces that didn't work...hahahah

Yes. Struggle and creative hights and lows would fill many posts, specially when you are self-taught :) I tried to film my process but had difficulty to stay in frame and became more self concious and productivity fall. The process is messy and ugly, i love to see it from other artists because this is the best way to learn. I promise to improve on this. Planning to move soon and setup my new workplace with more pernament ways to film and photograph the process.

If you haven't noticed emotional messes sell ...hahah <3
