I'm working on finding ways to help the local community grow. There are so many talented people here but everyone so disconnected. Let me know if you're ever in DFW!
I have done the same...even created a Google Plus group and a Twitter account to promote the site and help other users. I know exactly what you mean by everyone being disconnected, I've noticed that as well. However, I have heard rumors of communities coming soon, if that happens things will be different in that regard.
