@rachelhanson, I don't know why but I wondered this about you. Maybe your last name. Guess what, it's possible your husband has polygamous ancestors with that last name if he grew up lds as well. :-) My grandma was a Hansen. It's spelled different but they change their last names so they can't be discovered so the spelling could have been tweaked.
I'm not LDS anymone, and my husband never has been :). But my maiden name is Kelson, with the original Danish spelling of Kjeldsen. They immigrated after joining the church and settled in Ephraim, UT :).
That's where my dads family came from and ended up settling... interesting.
