After a month here it's a good time to say "Hello, Steem!"

Hi Guys!

I am here about a month and I think it's a good time to drop some words about me, my STEEM vision and my plans here.

At first I would say "Thank you" to @craig-grant who involved me into the STEEM in the beginning of july. I do remember that day in every detail: I read White Paper, went to GitHub for Steem sources, compiled and setup a local steem daemon and client, read the the White Paper again while waiting the wallet to sync.

Then I registered account and posted my first thoughts here. It was exciting! I read White Paper once again (exact relations between STEEM coin, Steem Power, SD and VESTS were still unclear to me). I remember that feeling when I realized the STEEM potential for the first time.

I did not sleep all night, reading all cool stuff here.

Later in the morning I produced a STEEM intro video addressing it to local Russian cryptocurrency community.

I have about 1850+ subscribers on my YouTube channel named "Smart bitcoiners" - it is one of the most popular channels talking about cryptocurrency in Russia. And I have promoted this video over all local reddit-style websites, grabbing users' attention and adviced them to enjoy STEEM.

I suppose there is a big number of Russian steemers coming here from my promotions.

Regardless my YouTube channel I promoted Steem in other ways in local forums, blogs (LiveJournal especially) and personal conversations.

Another thing I did for our local community is a steeme.ru website - first local social media site based on STEEM blockchain. It uses the same blockchain as a steemit.com but filters only russian content. It had been in my mind since I joined steemit and a week ago it was succesfully launched. In addition to language-based content filters some additional features on the site (which is not currently present on steemit.com) were implemented by community demands.

I am here to help the local community adopt the STEEM idea. Hope I do this in a proper way.
