I am writing to you from Portugal - and my nickname means "fisherman" in Portuguese.
That is an old hobby that I love, but I seem to have less and less time and health to do.
Here is a photo of one of my favourite fishing villages, Ericeira, where I have spent some time during the Summer.
I will try to use my account to spread folktales from our country. Initially I will do this in Potuguese, but I plan to translate some of the best stories - If I overcome my shyness of speaking in Portuguese.
We need to keep the oral tradition alive - after all it is what makes us what we are.
