I agree, if we all pitch in, help this grow then our own personal hopes can be achieved in return. Biggest thing we all look out for one another too, us little guys have a bit to go to the top but we can bring each other up there before Steemit really grows into a beast. The race has begun already and a lot of us are having to play catch up already

Yes completely agree, like yourself, I'm here for the long haul. A lot of catching up indeed, just finding the right way to gain exposure for the content I write is an art form in itself lol (just added my facebook poem :D ) but I have high hopes for the long-term future of the platform.
Think of yourself as your own boss in your own company...that is how I been doing it. We create a product with our writing, and we have to self market it or grow little groups to market each other. Once we get that concept and figure new ways to be productive with it, then it will boom and grow. I kind of have this promotion/marketing thing in my blood because of having to knock on a lot of doors for gigs with bands I been in over the years, kind of realized I am with talents there because I do a word of mouth marketing type style that seems to work fast....self taught I guess
