I'm not really a giant ;)

Now that I have an account with my username properly spelled I thought I'd repost my intro lol. Sorry for the confusion please dont hate me :D

Hi I'm Nominal Giant! :D I started streaming about 5 years ago with two goals in mind 1. Build a great community and network and 2. Make streaming sustainable for myself and for awhile that was working. I made lots of great friends and had a great time, I'm so grateful for that. But that has failed to continue be it because of mainstream bureaucracy with Twitch and Mixer or my own stupidity and over the last year that's hit me really hard because streaming and being a good content creator is my passion. I love streaming! its in my blood :D so now its time to stop feeling sorry for myself pick myself up and start a new! and thats exactly what i'm gonna do. I'm proud to announce that from this day forward I will be streaming on Dlive, Posting videos to DTube, and posting podcasts to DSound. I will make my passion/dream a reality and i'll do it my own way! the days of having backwards companies dictate my success is over. With that I say hello to you all and I look forward to a a great life on Busy.

Hello nominalgiant! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

  1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
  2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
  3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
  4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
  5. Have Fun and Enjoy!

Good luck @nominalgiant. Just out of curioisty, is Nominal Giant your given name or the name you created? I ask, because it sounds really important that it was correctly spelled.

Its a created name but its also my brand so to speak lol it would be really awkward if I had to keep the misspelled version of it :D

lol ... understood. all the best.

Thanks! :D all the best to you too.
