Who I am?#Introducemyself

Hi everyone and hello crypto world. My name is Albert Tiburcio, 25 years old Filipino, a resident of San Marcelino, Zambales. And now live in Quezon City, Philippines because I work here as a timekeeping staff of a private company. I was locked in this place for almost 2 years without seeing my family, especially my beloved parent due to this COVID-19 pandemic.

My parents are lack money and considered as poor but this is not a barrier for me to pursue my dream and finish my study with the help of my hardworking parents. I was a graduate of Business Administration major in Human Resources in exchange for my parent's sacrifices. After graduation, I work as an assistant store manager for almost six months in my home town and for unforeseen circumstances the store was closed. I was decided to leave my family and moved to Quezon City wherein there are a lot of opportunities and offer a competitive salary unlike in my hometown.

February 2, 2020, was the first time I go to Quezon City, different from the world where I came from. Unfortunately, a month of working as a timekeeper and for my second payout lockdown was announced and immediately implemented by the President of the Republic of the Philippines and I can't go home that time. I'm about to cry and I think this end of the world. All I do is pray and asked when I go home. It's also affected my earnings because my company was temporary close. Locked down was about 2-3 months for the company to operate. After three months my company opened, I'm thankful because I work even in the skeletal workforce and do not belong to those retrenched employees. My salary is only enough to pay for my boarding house and my food or daily expenses. All I know for this time living is a painful part of my life. But I need to fight as the others did. This crisis helps me to stand on my own feet and at least find an extra income to support my family.

My female coworker introduce me to an axie and how she earned money on it. But that time I can't afford to buy a team for an axie to play. Because I was inspired and have interested I do a lot of research. I search on Facebook and joined every group page about crypto. Watching YouTube find out what crypto is?

Finally, after more research, LoDensThoughts bloggers on YouTube catch my attention and introduce me to the splinterlands gameplay. I followed him and subscribe to his channel and try splinterlands gameplay. This is my first gameplay on crypto under the hive. Splinterlands help me to ease my sadness while playing and earn rewards from playing and can sell them for real money. This blogger also introduces me to the Rising star game and join in their group chat on messenger. Now I am an active player in both splinterlands and the rising star game. This group helps me a lot in my gameplay for acquiring my assets while maximizing my earnings. Some of my group mates do blogging on the hive like sir jacksonizer and @zionazrael. Because of curiosity, I tried it with a little knowledge. I know it is a bit too late to introduce myself because I already posted my four blogs on hive but I think I need to introduce myself where community I belong for who I am and what you expect from me. I was bothered without my introduction because I read the article by @castleberry How To Get A Great Start on the Hive Blockchain, How To Get A Great Start on Hive 2 and 3 things Newbies should do in their first week on Hive by @livinguktaiwan. And the curator of my post will have a little knowledge about me.

My hobbies are watching drama series such as K-drama, C-drama, Thai-drama, other countries' drama, and our Filipino drama. I also love to make art such as drawings, doodles, and related to all sketches. Currently, I am participating in the weekly splinterlands art contest which encourages me to enhance my talents and make a lot of efforts in exchange for rewards. These days, I'm busy thinking of different arts to portray in the contest because I love these very much. I enjoy it and in addition, I also draw art about the Rising Star Game.
