• a 20sth living in Vienna, Austria
• currently a member of the LimeCrew, as a Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager
• a proud bunny mom - prepare to meet the cutest bunny lady in town 🐰
• a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, my preciousss
• a Ravenclaw at heart - still patiently waiting for my Hogwarts letter tho ✉🦉
• a Marvel supporter, tolerating DC titles every now and then
• madly in love with Yoshis & dinosaurs in general 💕

What I think about Steemit & my expectations concerning the platform

I first heard of Steemit in December 2017. Some of my colleagues and me were all excited about the rise of cryptocurrencies, when Bernd Pfeiffer told us about the quite new Steemit platform and it's possible potentials.

Working in Social Media, I was immediately impressed by the whole system of platforms Steemit already was surrounded with. But, for me, the most impressive feature of the platform was its community.

Kind people are my kinda people.

Well, I guess the quote speaks for itself. I was really astonished about all the kind words I found on Steemit. In a world, where good behaviour seems to be a rare good and nobody on- or offline seems to give a fuck anymore about how they're treating the people who surround them, I found it kind of refreshing to read so many helpful comments and warm welcoming words.

Above all, what I am really looking forward to - besides getting to know different people from all over the world of course - is to consume content I'm interested in, without getting disturbed by any advertisements. Also, I'm curious, how the Steem network will evolve in 2018.

Things I enjoy, which I will post about eventually

The contents I will share with you will include the following topics:

• Brunch-Restaurants in Vienna
  For all the true Foodies among yourselves, Vienna really offers a lot of incredibly good restaurants serving all different kinds of cuisines. As my brunch game grew quite strong over the years, I will especially focus on spots with extraordinary delicious breakfast or brunch dishes :) 
• Concerts & music festivals
  The rhythms, the movements of the crowd - the whole atmosphere at a concert or music festival is just priceless for me.. and you're gonna be a part of it as well!
• Desserts
  I'm really into all kinds of baking and preparing delicious sweets, like cookies, brownies, cakes etc.. so get ready to put up with the fact of ditching your New Year’s resolutions soon :)
• DIYs
  When it comes to gifts for my loved ones, I like to get creative. Get yourself some gift ideas for birthdays, house-warming parties, Valentine's Day or Christmas!
• Travelling
  The intention is to arouse your wanderlust with snapshots from my latest travels, like f. e. to Corsica, Croatia, Japan, London, New York and Singapore.
• Video games
  I fell in love with a lot of games from Nintendo, like the Super Mario ones, Pokémon and Zelda of course. At the moment my main console is the Nintendo Switch and I gotta tell you guys: Super Mario Odyssey is constantly blowing my mind! On the Playstation 4 my last crush was "Horizon Zero Dawn". And yeah, maybe you'll also get to know some of my PC and mobile game favourites.. but we'll see :)

Some additional thoughts

As I am quite the newbie on Steemit and this is my first attempt at a personal blog, please don't hesitate to leave some constructive feedback in the comments. I'm always seeking to broaden my horizon and trying to get better at what I do, so your thoughts on my work will be greatly appreciated!

Was ich über Steemit denke & meine Erwartungen an die Plattform

Zum ersten Mal hörte ich von Steemit im Dezember 2017. Einige meiner Kollegen und ich waren mitten im Crypto-Fieber, als uns Bernd Pfeiffer von der noch ziemlich jungen Plattform Steemit und ihren möglichen Potentialen erzählte.

Da ich sowohl beruflich als auch privat einen Großteil meiner Zeit auf Social Media verbringe, war ich sofort fasziniert von dem gesamten System an Plattformen, mit dem Steemit bereits umgeben war. Ein Feature der Plattform aber hat mich wohl am meisten beeindruckt: Ihre Community.

Kind people are my kinda people.

Ich denke, dass das oben stehende Zitat schon für sich spricht. Wirklich umgehauen hat mich schlichtweg die gesamte positive Grundstimmung auf Steemit. In einer Welt, in der gutes Benehmen zu einem raren Gut geworden ist und dem Anschein nach keiner mehr wirklich Gedanken daran verschwendet, wie er on- oder offline mit anderen Individuen in seinem Umfeld umgeht, war ich von den vielen hilfreichen Kommentaren und herzlichen Willkommensworten durchaus überrascht.

Worauf ich mich am meisten freue - neben dem Kontakte knüpfen mit unterschiedlichsten Usern aus der ganzen Welt natürlich - ist wohl, dass ich Inhalte, die mich interessieren, einfach ohne Werbeunterbrechung konsumieren kann. Zusätzlich bin ich einfach schon gespannt, wie sich das Steem Netzwerk im Jahr 2018 weiterentwickeln wird.

Was euch auf meinem Blog erwartet

Unter anderem werde ich Inhalte zu folgenden Themen mit euch sharen:

• Brunch-Lokale in Wien
  Für alle Foodies bietet Wien eine Menge hervorragender Lokale der unterschiedlichsten Küchen. Da Brunch für mich mittlerweile schon mehr eine Lebenseinstellung als eine reine Mahlzeit darstellt, wird mein Fokus hierbei eher auf ausgezeichneten Frühstückslokalen liegen :) 
• Desserts
  Ich liebe es zu backen und allerlei süße Leckereien, wie Cookies, Brownies, Kuchen etc. zuzubereiten.. also findet euch schon mal damit ab, eure Neujahrsvorsätze bald über den Haufen zu werfen :)
• DIYs
  Wenn es um Geschenke für meine Liebsten geht, werde ich gerne kreativ. Holt euch von mir ein paar Ideen für Geburtstage, Einweihungsfeiern und Valentinstags- oder Weihnachtsüberraschungen!
• Konzerte & Musikfestivals
  Die Beats, die Bewegungen der Crowd - die ganze Atmosphäre bei einem Konzert oder Musikfestival ist für mich einfach unbezahlbar.. und euch lass ich daran teilhaben!
• Reisen
  Mit Schnappschüssen von meinen Reisen nach Korsika, Kroatien, Japan, London, New York oder Singapur beispielsweise will ich euer Reisefieber wecken!
• Videospiele
  Ich liebe Games mit Nintendo Charakteren, wie etwa Super Mario, Pokémon und Zelda natürlich. Im Moment verbringe ich meine Zeit hauptsächlich vor der Nintendo Switch, und lasst euch sagen: Super Mario Odyssey ist einfach unglaublich gut! Auf der Playstation 4 war mein letzter Favorit "Horizon Zero Dawn". Und ja, vielleicht erzähl ich euch auch etwas über die für mich genialsten Games am PC oder Handy... wir werden sehen :)

Zusätzliche Anmerkungen

Da ich noch noch ein rechter Newbie auf Steemit bin und das hier mein erster Versuch von einem persönlichen Blog darstellt, zögert bitte nicht, mir in den Kommentaren konstruktives Feedback zu hinterlassen. Ich versuche stets meinen Horizont zu erweitern und besser zu werden in dem, was ich mache, darum freue ich mich schon auf eure Inputs zu meiner Arbeit!
